I loved the guest you had on today because of her referencing Afronauts! A bit of trivia: The term 'AFRONAUTS' originated in Zambia in the 1960s by an eccentric freedom fighter, activist and science teacher called Edward Nkoloso who dreamed of competing with Russia and USA in the space race of the 60s. He founded the 'Zambia National Academy of Science, Space Research and Philosophy' where he trained a select group of Zambian teenagers (lead by a teenage girl, Matha Mwambwa) to go into space naming them 'The Afronauts'. Obviously and unfortunately the program failed to send Zambia into space as it was ridiculed and not taken serious because of Nkoloso's eccentric (...and somewhat unserious) nature but he had the same dream T'onne Clemons has of black kids being astronauts and reaching their highest potential and dreaming big. I love T'onna Clemons' amazing art, as a writer and art lover she's the guest that I've enjoyed the most!
